Carlos Hernández (NBC, ABC, Only in Dade) is a Mexican-born, Cuban-raised stand up comedian, writer, improviser and actor.

In 2022 he appeared on ABC's American Idol as Yurisbel, the alter-ego, who charmed a Golden Ticket out of Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie without hitting a note. Tens of millions of views. Commercials with Pitbull. Trained everywhere that matters.

Doing standup since 2019, he's opened for Damon Wayans, Matt Riffe, TJ Miller, Ricky Velez, Michael Rapaport, Aida Rodriguez, Craig Robinson, amongst others. In 2023, he won the title of Miami New Times' Best Comedian and since has appeared on countless television segments on Telemundo, NBC, and more. He is a regular at The Stand, St. Marks and New York Comedy Club, where he now lives whenever he is not on tour.
